As previously mentioned in a blog post I uploaded a while back (see here) , I have recently been a part of Youth Music Theatre UK. In summer 2014 I went to Kingston- Upon- Thames to begin my rehearsals.
Rehearsals were most days, for the first two weeks, and usually lasted from 9am until 9pm. The dance workouts in the morning started off as being a buzz kill for everyone but by the end of the three weeks everyone absolutely loved them!
The set for the theatre looked incredible as it was constructed of modern items such as scaffolding and spray painted barrels.
I have to say the three weeks I was there taught me so much about theatre and about myself. I made so many amazing friends who I am still very much in contact with now and I am really looking forward to seeing everyone again when the Youth Music Theatre reunion show happens in December!
